NTPC is all set to launch a few renewable projects based on floating and ground-mounted in Tripura. It is about bringing new changes in the state. MoU (memorandum of understanding) was signed between the NTPC’s renewable energy and the government of Tripura on the 16th of January. It was signed by Rajiv Gupta, Chief General Manager of NTPC and Mahananda Debberma, and also the CEO of Tripura renewable energy development agency.
NTPC said that “the MoU embarks upon the journey towards the development of large-sized renewable energy projects. And will help the state government in meeting its clean energy commitments and obligations.”
The project is under highly professional officials of NTPC. All the officials of NTPC and the state government were present at the meeting. These kinds of projects will aid in the development and growth of the state.
