The Election Commission of India will be visiting Tripura for two days. The visit will be on January 11th and 10th. There will be about 16 members of the ECI team. Along with the team of ECI, there will also be a senior deputy commissioner of EC. By 2 pm, they will arrive on January 11 and 12th.
Also, many other officials like media, EVM machines, and polling stations will be coming there. After staying in Tripura for two days, the team will leave for Shillong, Nagaland, and will reach Delhi by January 15th.
There is going to be a meeting with all the political parties respectively in the state guest house. And the next day, they will organize a press conference at Ujjayanta Palace. Further, 50 companies of CAPF will be coming to Tripura on January 8. As the assembly elections are around the corner and preparations are going on well.
