Agartala-Akhaura rail link project may be inaugurated this year itself Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy said this while inspecting the work of the project in Nischintapur.
The Union Donor Minister is holding a review meeting of various government projects. After the review meeting at Mahakaran on Tuesday, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy went to monitor the work of Nischintpur Agartala-Akhaura Rail Link Project. Union State Minister Pratima Bhowmik, State Tourism-Transport Minister Sushant Chowdhury, MLA Meena Rani Sarkar and other officials were present. The Central Donor Minister expressed his desire that the Prime Minister of the two countries jointly inaugurate this project this year. He said that he will request the Prime Minister of the country again after this work is completed.
