The dates of the poll are likely to be out today by 2:30 pm by Election Commission for Assembly elections. An announcement will be for three Northeastern states including Tripura, Nagaland, and Meghalaya. But prior to that, the poll panel has scheduled a brief review to check on the preparations for the upcoming election.
All three states are among the first ones to experience polls this year, about by February and March. The information is given by PTI. Tripura has BJP as its ruling party, and Nagaland has the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party. National People’s party is running currently in Meghalaya.
