The central government has been informed about the new cases in Arunachal Pradesh. The Union Health Ministry is expected to coordinate with the state for any required support. As of now, the situation remains localized, and there is no indication of a regional outbreak.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has also been notified, and the samples may be sent for genome sequencing to rule out new variants.
