Assam CM Welcomes the Ban on PFI by Central Government

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed the Centre’s move to ban the Popular Front of India (PFI). In a tweet, he has thanked Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for welcoming the decision of the Government of India to ban PFI. With reference to Assam, he said that the PFI and the CFI were hatching a sinister conspiracy to create unrest in the state. He told that PFI is behind the Garukhuti incident.
