On February 8, 2025, CM Sarma met with Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani in Mumbai. The discussions centered on transforming Assam into a hub for Industry 4.0, emphasizing advanced manufacturing and digital innovation. The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the Ambanis’ time and highlighted the potential for collaboration to drive this transformative journey.

The Chief Minister extended an invitation to Chandrasekaran to attend the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit, underscoring the state’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment.

Furthering these efforts, CM Sarma also met with Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of JSW Group, in Mumbai. Their discussions explored potential collaborations, particularly in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
