Amidst the results of the Tripura 13th Legislative Assembly elections, the Araksha Bahini has conducted a flag march tomorrow on March 2 to maintain law and order and instill courage among the people.
On this day, Ajay Kumar Das said that section 144 has been issued in Sadar sub-division alone from 6 pm on Wednesday to 6 am on March 3. He said that the common people are being informed by miking from the Sadar subdivision ruler. He claimed that the counting of votes of 14 assembly constituencies will be done at Agartala Umakant Academy. Tight security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order on the day of counting of votes.
He also said that on the day of counting of votes, measures have been taken to stay in separate places so that no conflict or unpleasant situation occurs between any political party. He said that on the day of counting of votes, central security personnel will patrol the entire headquarters. Central security personnel will do their work throughout the day.
He appealed to the supporters of the political party to avoid any untoward incident in the Sadar sub-division. Ajay Kumar Das claimed that the administration will take strict action against the overlords if they create an unpleasant situation.
