Dr. Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura stated that the development and tribal welfare would be the main objective of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) in the state.
In the 60-member state assembly election, the Bharatiya Janata Party is competing for 55 seats while leaving five open for its alliance Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura.
Manik Saha predicted that his party would win with a large majority and go on to build the next administration in Tripura with the love and support of the people.
He also said that the current administration made significant contributions to the entire development of the state, whether it be in the areas of social welfare, connectivity, or in the field of women’s empowerment.
He stated that in the last five years, up to five tribal leaders have received the Padma Shri award. This is a wonderful acknowledgment of indigenous people in the region.
