Clashes Between Congress-BJP Supporters in Tripura, Four Arrested


Four Congress supporters were arrested on Thursday in connection with a clash between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress workers in Tripura’s Sepahijhala district. A police officer gave this information. He has also been arrested for attacking the security personnel, the official said. He said that three Congress workers were injured in this clash.

Congress workers were allegedly attacked by BJP supporters while putting up party flags at Rautkhola in Sipahijhala district on Wednesday afternoon. Sikandar Miya, one of the three injured Congress workers, was admitted to GBP Hospital here.
