Jiten Chowdhury, the CPI (M) state secretary and party central committee member, is confident that the BJP government in Tripura will lose the assembly elections on March 2, and there will be a new government in power. He expressed this belief while speaking to party workers and supporters in seven different places in the Sabroom constituency, where he is contesting the election.
Jiten assured the workers that the CPI (M)-Congress alliance will come to power, and he emphasized the need for responsible behavior on the part of party workers during the election process. He stated that democracy had been destroyed by the BJP, and the rule of law and constitution had ceased to exist. He urged party workers to act responsibly, keeping in mind their commitment to peace and harmony.
Jiten was accompanied by other party leaders during his tour of the constituency, including the Sabroom subdivisional committee secretary Arun Tripura, MLA Prabhat Chowdhury, and several secretariat members. He also cautioned party workers that their jubilation and celebration should not cause pain or anguish to others.
Jiten’s remarks reflect his confidence in the CPI (M)-Congress alliance’s prospects in the upcoming elections and his commitment to responsible behavior and democratic values during the electoral process.
