Efforts of Central and State Governments Continue to Improve Connectivity in Tribal Areas of Manipur: La Ganesan


Manipur Governor La Ganesan has said that the Central and State Governments are working tirelessly to improve connectivity and living standards in the tribal areas of Manipur. Speaking at the inaugural session of the one day National Conference on Tribal Heroes in India’s Freedom Movement held at Imphal today, the Governor said that the brave heroes of the tribal communities contributed significantly to the freedom struggle and played a central role in achieving independence. The conference was organized by DM University, Imphal under the program of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, National Tribal Commission, New Delhi.
