Five persons including children of the same family were seriously injured in the accident. The incident occurred in Bishalgarh Sarkartila Lockdown Market area. Locals rescued the injured and sent them to Bishalgarh sub-district hospital.

An eyewitness said that at around 8:30 am on Tuesday, Manoranjan Chakraborty was going to Udaipur from Agartala in an Eco car bearing TR 01AM0408 with eight family members. On reaching the lockdown market area adjacent to Bishalgarh Madhya Lakshibil Sarkartila Bypass, the car fell into a ditch on the side of the road while taking a turn and met with an accident.

Residents rushed to the spot after hearing the loud noise. Manoranjan Babu and five family members including children were seriously injured in that accident. The local residents rescued the injured and sent them to Vishalgarh sub-district hospital. Manoranjan Chakraborty said that they are currently under treatment in the hospital.
