Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Dighalipukhuri-Noonmati flyover, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion in the Chandmari area. The flyover, a significant infrastructural project, spans approximately 1.4 kilometers and is expected to streamline vehicular movement, particularly during peak hours.

Constructed at a cost of Rs. 140 crores, the flyover traverses one of the busiest sections of Guwahati, connecting the Dighalipukhuri area to Noonmati. With its completion, commuters can now bypass the congested Chandmari intersection, reducing travel time and enhancing overall traffic flow in the region.
