Himanta Biswa Sarma, The chief minister of Assam stated that Narendra Modi Ji will attend the state government event on April 14 primarily intended to increase international awareness of Bihu.
To set a record for the largest performance of the folk dance style, 11,140 dancers and drummers will perform on Bihu in Guwahati during the following event. This event might set a Guinness World Record for Assam.
The Guinness World Records, which has given its preliminary approval, has already received a sample clip of the Bihu dance performed by a small group of dancers, according to the chief minister of Assam.
It will be the biggest Bihu dancing presentation at a single location if all goes according to plan. The dance will go on for fifteen minutes. Each participant will get a payment of rupees 10,500.
According to him, the state government will also organize a seven-day Bihu festival in Sivasagar and Guwahati in observance of Nagaland’s Hornbill Festival.
