Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is going to host 50 students and youth from Tripura under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Northeast Yuva Sangam campaign. The students will be hosted by IIT Madras from 4 to 9 March 2023.

Hosting students from Tripura at IIT Madras will provide them with a unique opportunity to learn about the customs, traditions, and technological advancements of Tamil Nadu, while also interacting with students and faculty at the institute.

Similarly, the visit by Tamil Nadu students to Tripura will enable them to learn about the culture, heritage, and technological developments of the northeastern state. The exchange of ideas, knowledge, and skills between the paired states will promote a better understanding of each other’s strengths and challenges, and contribute to the overall development of the country.

The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat campaign, inspired by the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, highlights the importance of national integration and unity in diversity. It is a great way to bring together people from different parts of the country and foster a sense of belonging and pride in the rich cultural heritage of India.
