The Himanta Biswa Sarma government of Assam has suspended internet services given the recruitment exam to be held in the state today. As per the information, lakhs of candidates will appear in the recruitment exam today for the second phase of the ongoing massive recruitment drive in various departments. Given this, the state government has decided to suspend internet services for four hours.

The third and last phase will be held on September 11

The second phase of the recruitment drive is to be held today, the candidates who have applied for the third category posts will appear for the examination. This time the state government has taken a lot of strictness in the recruitment examination. The fate of around 14 lakh candidates will be decided in this recruitment drive.

CM had a review meeting
Apart from this, Section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in the state where the examinations are to be held. Also, tight security arrangements have been made in every examination center. Before the second phase, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had held a meeting to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. Sarma tweeted after the review meeting. He said that we are committed to conducting the ongoing massive recruitment drive for Grade III and IV posts in a transparent manner. Tight security arrangements at exam centers
Earlier, he had directed DC and SP to take strict action against mischievous elements who disturbed the examination process. Let us inform you that in each of the 25 districts where the examinations are going to be held, a nodal officer has been posted and government officials have also been deputed at each examination center as observers. In addition, a sub-inspector level police officer has been deputed at each examination center. They will be assisted by other police personnel.

Videography will be done at the examination centers
Apart from this, candidates have been banned from carrying mobile phones or any other electronic gadget along with the invigilators to the examination centers. It has been directed to depute two videographers in each examination center for videography of all relevant events in the center in-charge examination.
