Meghalaya Health Announces Recruitment for 83 Medical Positions

Meghalaya Health has released a recruitment notification, inviting applications for 83 vacant positions in various medical categories. The Meghalaya Medical Services Recruitment Board is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Medical & Health Officers/Junior Specialists, Dental Surgeon, and Medical Physicist cum Radiation Safety Officer.

Vacancy Details:

1. Medical & Health Officers/Junior Specialists
   • Number of Posts: 74
   • Qualification:
     • MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized Medical institution (registered with MCI/NMC)
     • MD, MS, DNB, DM, M.Ch., Diploma, or equivalent degrees for specified specialties
2. Dental Surgeon
   • Number of Posts: 8
   • Qualification:
     • BDS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution (registered with The Meghalaya State Dental Council)
3. Medical Physicist cum Radiation Safety Officer
   • Number of Posts: 1
   • Qualification:
     • M.Sc in Medical Physics or equivalent OR
     • M.Sc in Physics with a postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Radiological/Medical Physics
     • Approval/certificate to function as a Radiation Safety Officer in Radiotherapy
