Around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Meghalaya police ceased the consignment of alcoholic beverages in the Resulbelpara area in North Garo Hills.
Meghalaya police seized a total of 342 alcoholic beverages worth 60,000 rupees on the Indian market.

The seized consignments were brought for sale in the black market in the Resulbelpara area in North Garo Hills. While conducting a usual inspection North Garo Hills police Stopped a vehicle (Tata Nano) bearing Assam registration.
The police seized Indian-made foreign liquor, namely Tuborg and kingfisher beers, royal stag, OC blue, Mc. Dowells and blenders pride whiskies, during inspection.

According to police, The liquor consignment was for Resubelpara’s black market sellers in the Dekachang market and Nangaburi markets.
