Manipur High Court has given a big decision regarding the Lok Sabha seat Outer Manipur. It is being told that the court has declared the Lok Sabha election of Lorho S Phoje of Naga People’s Front as void and disqualified him. In the case, the court has declared BJP’s Hulim Shokhopao Met elected from Outer Manipur seat.
The petition was filed by Halim Shokopao Mate, claiming that there were flaws in Lorho S. Foje’s affidavit during the election. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Lorho S Phoje of Naga People’s Front got 363527 votes. At the same time, BJP’s Hulim Shokhopao Met was at number two. Met got 289745 votes.
