From ACP Pradyuman of CID to clients across 35 countries, the founder of Q-Slim Fitness Studio reflects on nearly two decades of clinical nutrition practice built in Andheri West, Mumbai

MUMBAI, India – Pallavi Srivastava, founder and clinical nutritionist in Mumbai at Q-Slim Fitness Studio, is marking 18 years in clinical and fitness nutrition, a career that has taken her from one-on-one consultations in Andheri West to guiding more than 15,500 clients across 35 countries, including some of India’s most recognizable television and film actors.

Srivastava founded Q-Slim Fitness Studio on a simple premise, that diet is not about deprivation but about eating the right food, at the right time, in the right quantity. Nearly two decades later, that philosophy has become the foundation of a practice that blends clinical rigor with lifestyle-first coaching, serving everyone from first-time weight-loss clients to individuals managing complex medical conditions.

“When we change the way we eat, we don’t just change our weight, we change our energy, mood and overall health,” Srivastava has said of her approach. “A balanced approach to nutrition is not about deprivation but about abundance in the right form.”

A Clinical Foundation

Srivastava holds a postgraduate degree in nutrition and an MBA in international marketing, a combination she has used to build Q-Slim into both a trusted clinical practice and a globally accessible one. Her specializations span clinical nutrition and disease management, cardiac nutrition and rehabilitation, renal and kidney nutrition, orthopaedic recovery, PCOS and hormonal balance, and COVID-18 recovery and immunity support.

Rather than offering generic meal plans, Srivastava’s process begins with a detailed medical history review, followed by dietary recall, full body composition assessment, and a customized plan updated roughly every ten days as a client’s needs evolve. The practice also builds in guidance for travel, dining out, and the disrupted schedules that make most diets fail, and clients who cannot visit the Andheri West clinic in person are offered the same structured process through online consultations over Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video call.

Over 18 years, that structure has extended well beyond Mumbai. Q-Slim’s client base now spans 35 countries, and Srivastava has taken her nutrition education work into banks, schools, elderly care homes, and corporate offices, alongside restaurant reviews aimed at helping diners make more balanced choices when eating out.

A Celebrity Clientele Built on Results

Q-Slim’s client roster includes several well-known names from Indian film and television, each of whom has credited Srivastava’s approach with results that felt sustainable rather than punishing.

Actor Shivaji Satam, widely recognized for his role as ACP Pradyuman on the long-running series CID, turned to Srivastava for a weight-loss and inch-loss program after an accident left him needing to get back into shape for a physically demanding role. He has described losing weight under her guidance as never feeling like a difficult task.

Television actress Pallavi Joshi, wife of filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, lost close to seven kilograms working with Srivastava, crediting the plan with never feeling restrictive. Fellow television actress Mouli Ganguly sought out Srivastava while managing hormonal issues and bloating, and has said the natural, personalized approach helped her body find balance without medication.

Film and television actors Roshni Achreja and Raghuvir Yadav lost ten kilograms in three months under Srivastava’s guidance, while Gujarati film and television actors Manas Shah and Khanjan Thumber turned to her for help managing a hypothyroid condition and long-standing weight struggles, respectively, with Thumber losing thirteen kilograms in three months. Television actresses Zalak Desai and Tusharika Rajguru have both credited Srivastava with helping them maintain the fitness their careers demand without resorting to extreme or unsustainable diets.

Recognition Along the Way

Alongside her client work, Srivastava has been featured across leading print and digital media platforms over the years, a reflection of the credibility she has built as both a clinical voice and a celebrity nutritionist. That visibility, she says, has never changed the standard applied inside the clinic, where every plan, for a first-time client or a well-known face, is built on the same evidence-based process.

Looking Ahead

As Srivastava marks 18 years in the field, she says the goal at Q-Slim has never changed, helping clients build a healthier relationship with food that lasts well beyond the length of any single program. With continued growth in her online consultation practice and a steady stream of new specializations added over the years, Srivastava says the next chapter of Q-Slim will focus on deepening that same clinical, personalized approach for an even wider international client base.
