SHG Initiative Supported by TRLM

The project received support from the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission. Officials guided SHG members in building the brand and expanding their business activities.

Arghya Saha, TCS-I and Additional District Magistrate and Collector of Unakoti district, closely supervised the initiative. Under his guidance, the SHG members strengthened production and marketing efforts.

The NatureliQ tea brand officially launched on March 4, 2025. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha unveiled the brand at the Chandipur BDO office.

Since then, the SHG members have actively promoted their tea products across various platforms.

Promotion Through Fairs and Exhibitions

The group participated in several exhibitions and fairs to expand the brand’s visibility. They showcased their products at the well-known SARAS Mela held in Agartala.

They also attended exhibitions in Hyderabad and Pecharthal. These events helped introduce NatureliQ tea to wider markets.

Officials said these efforts increased public awareness of the brand. They also created new business opportunities for SHG members.

Boost for Rural Women Entrepreneurs

Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Tinku Roy praised the dedication of the SHG members. He said such initiatives play a key role in improving rural livelihoods.

He also highlighted the importance of women-led entrepreneurship in the state’s economic growth. According to him, SHG enterprises can create sustainable income sources for rural families.

The newly opened cafeteria will serve tea and light snacks prepared by SHG members. Its location along NH-8 makes it convenient for travelers.

Local residents and visitors have been encouraged to visit the outlet and support the initiative.

Officials view the NatureliQ cafeteria as a successful example of community-driven entrepreneurship. With strong institutional support, small SHG ventures can grow into sustainable rural enterprises.
