Shri Ratibhai Prabhudas Patel was born in a small village in Gujarat. He was born on 1st February 1958 in Kahoda village, Mahesana district of Gujarat, to Shri Prabhudas Chhagandas Patel and Smt. Galbiben Patel. His family grew crops and lived simply. Money was tight, but love and values were strong. His parents believed in truth, hard work, and giving back. Even as a little boy, R.P. Patel dreamt of helping others. He loved his village and wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, no matter how big or small.
He completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Anand Agricultural University and later earned an LLB degree. After completing his studies, he cracked the bank exams and joined Dena Bank. For 20 years, he wasn’t just an employee — he became a helping hand for many. Whether it was guiding a farmer or supporting a co-worker, he always gave his best. He earned love and respect not by showing power, but by staying kind and fair to all. He is married to Smt. Manjulaben Ratibhai Patel and has two sons — Bhargav and Amit.
Most people fear change, but not Shri Patel. One day, he decided to quit his bank job. This was not an easy choice. Leaving a secure job to serve society is never easy. But his heart said it was the right thing to do. He began a new life with honesty and slowly started a business, not just for profit, but to help and uplift others.
While growing his business, R.P. Patel also thought about the youth. He became the Chairman of CREDAI Ahmedabad and also served as chairman of UCDC to raise awareness about UPSC-GPSC among students. These were not just normal classes. They became a light for over 8,400 students. More than 3,400 of them cleared big government exams. His mission was always clear — give others the tools to succeed.
In 2016, Shri Patel made another big turn. He left business to start something greater — a spiritual and cultural place for all. That dream took shape as the Vishv Umiyadham in Ahmedabad. The project is worth ₹2,000 crore. But it’s more than a temple. It’s a centre where values, learning, and unity come together in one place.
The Vishv Umiyadham is not only for prayers and blessings. It’s also for career guidance, cultural knowledge, and unity. Students visit, learn, and get inspired. Families feel peace. Youth get direction. The idea is simple — one place to grow in every way. This space brings together faith, education, and the feeling of being one big family.
Shri Patel’s message of service didn’t stop in Gujarat. Today, the Vishv Umiya Foundation is reaching people in the USA, UK, and Canada. Soon it will touch hearts in Africa too. Wherever he goes, people join hands with him. He uses social media to share love and values. His journey shows that borders can’t stop kindness and vision.
Now, he serves as the Principal Sevak of the Vishv Umiya Foundation. He doesn’t take money or fame. He only works to spread good values and unite people. His life is a strong example of selfless service. Every day, his story touches people — not through speeches, but through action. His name is not just a name — it’s a symbol of hope and heart.
