Rajrupa Bose and the Calcutta Centenary Rotary Club collaborated together to provide education and happiness to impoverished children in Kolkata who were between the ages of five and ten. The project included kind contributions of food, storybooks, and educational supplies.
Rajrupa Bose spearheaded a program to provide young students a reminder of their youth and the means to develop their future. Notebooks, pencils, educational materials kits, and vibrant storybooks were among items that were donated to encourage creativity and a love of reading.
Cookies, cakes, chips, chocolates, and fruit drinks were among the delights the team offered to give the celebration of childhood a joyful feel.
“This gesture goes beyond materials,” a Jeevansathi Vikash Foundation spokesperson told us. The kids learn that they are important and that there are individuals who are supporting their aspirations.
Known for her dedication to child welfare and inclusive development, Rajrupa Bose said, “We wanted to do something that feeds both minds and hearts.” The best foundation we can provide is education, and the path is made brighter by a little happiness along the way.
By encouraging a child’s willingness to dream with a story pencil, and cookie pack, these programs offer optimism that cannot be expressed in words.
