The Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Saha announces the news on Sunday of the building up of a medical college in Tripura tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) soon.
Earlier Tripura chief minister Saha also talked about the establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS).
The plot of land has been identified for the building of a new medical college in TTAADC.
“Setting up of medical college and AIIMS will enhance the healthcare infrastructure and system in the state,” Saha said.
Additionally, he said, “This will facilitate better medical studies and better treatment.”
Saha claimed that the new AIIMS in Tripura will have enhanced and advanced infrastructure and will have experienced doctors.
This is a big step towards the development of healthcare in Tripura.
