According to the directives issued by the East Khasi Hills Police, the following restrictions will be enforced:

  • Lumjingshai Junction to CRPF Junction: Entry will be restricted, and vehicles will be diverted towards Lawmali Junction and beyond.
  • Lumjingshai Junction to Forest Colony: No vehicles will be allowed to enter this route.
  • 4th Furlong Junction to Polo Market: Entry towards Polo Market will be restricted, with vehicles rerouted towards CS Junction.
  • Matri Mandir Junction: No right turn will be allowed towards Polo Market. Instead, vehicles will be diverted towards 4th Furlong Junction and beyond.

These measures are aimed at preventing heavy congestion near the stadium, especially as thousands of football fans are expected to gather for the match.

Parking Arrangements for Spectators

To facilitate parking for the public, designated parking spaces have been arranged at various locations near the stadium. Authorities have advised attendees to park only in the designated areas to avoid unnecessary traffic congestion.
