Dr.Dinesh Sabnis having appointment as a Addl. Representative in United Nations Geneva Office & Asst.General Manager-Sports in Ashoka Group of Schools, Nashik have tremendously contributed towards education field through not only sports but also through successful projects related to education diplomacy.
Dr.Sabnis for past seven years have been taking special efforts in developing hand on experience for Indian students in topics such as United Nations Charter, Sustainable Development Goals, International Relations & Diplomacy, and for his these generous contributions on March 3rd 2024, Dr.Sabnis was conferred with “Shiv Chhatrapati Maharashtra Gaurav Puraskar” the State Level Award by Hon.Sadashiv Lokhande, Member of the Lok Sabha of India and other honorable distinguished dignitaries in sangamner. This award function was well organised by Sanjeevani Foundation. This award holds special significance as it is named after the great icon of India & father of Indian Navy Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Dr.Dinesh Sabnis has already received other prestigious awards such as Rajya Puraskar (Maharashtra Government), Commemorative Medal of Peace (UN Peacekeepers Veteran Association-SPIA), Book for Peace Award (Funvic & UNESCO), Special Medal of Mission Cross & UN NGO Honor Medal from Lazarus Union & recent one was Star Education Award from Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.
Dr.Sabnis strongly believe in quote of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam “it does not matter how large or small your sphere of activity is, what counts finally is the commitment that you bring to the job that has been ordained for you in this life.”
