Wangkhem Somorjit, a dedicated rifleman of the 6th MR attached to Special Commando Moreh, hailed from Malom Mayai Leikai under Imphal West district. The loss of this brave soul underscores the challenges faced by security forces in maintaining peace and order in the region.
At the sidelines of the ceremony, Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam vehemently condemned the cowardly act, labeling it as a tragic incident.
