The Administration of Tripura has Started Running Around for the Welcome of PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Tripura. The administration has started running around his visit. According to the scheduled schedule, he will arrive at Agartala airport around 2.30 pm on that day. From there he will reach Swami Vivekananda Maidan. The Prime Minister will address the beneficiaries of various projects in the public meeting there.

However, the final schedule has not yet been sent to the Tripura government from the Prime Minister’s Office. Information and Culture Minister Sushant Chowdhury gave this news at a press conference at the Secretariat today. He also added that the Prime Minister expressed his wish that the city of Agartala should be made more transparent. Therefore, special measures have been taken administratively. The program will be historic.

Incidentally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Tripura after the Eastern Council meeting in Shillong. The Chief Minister of Tripura is going to Shillong on December 17 to participate in that meeting. Swami Vivekananda Maidan was visited today by the administration on the occasion of Prime Minister’s visit to Tripura. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha visited the Maharaja Bir Vikram Airport. Today Information and Culture Minister Sushant Chowdhury, Prisons Minister Ramprasad Pal, Chief Secretary, Director General of Tripura Police along with top officials of general and police administration visited Swami Vivekananda Maidan. BJP’s Tripura election in-charge Dr. Mahesh Singh was also discussing the preparations at Swami Vivekananda Maidan. Besides, BJP’s state general secretary Kishore Barman and Amit Rakshit reviewed the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit today.

On this day, the Minister of Information and Culture said that a special meeting of the Cabinet was held last night. In that meeting, the Prime Minister’s visit was discussed in detail. Besides, the Chief Secretary also held separate meetings with the top officials of the administration. According to him, the final schedule of the Prime Minister’s visit has not yet come to the Tripura government. However, it has been confirmed that he is visiting Tripura on December 18. He claimed that the Prime Minister’s plane will land at Maharaja Bir Vikram Airport at 2.30 pm on that day. From there he will attend the public meeting at Swami Vivekananda Maidan.

According to the Information and Culture Minister, all matters related to the Prime Minister’s security are under the control of the SPG. Therefore, this time he will sit on the temporary stage instead of the constructed stage at Swami Vivekananda Maidan. There you will talk to the beneficiaries of various projects. However, the final schedule has not yet been sent to the Tripura government from the Prime Minister’s Office, said the Information and Culture Minister. He said that after the public meeting, the Prime Minister will return on that day. However, there is a possibility of a meeting with ministers and MLAs before leaving, he said.
