The current government of the state is a government of the people. This government is meant to work for the development of the people. The main focus of the government is to deliver the benefits of the development programs of the government to the people living in the remote areas of the state. This was said by the Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha while inaugurating the state-wise workshop organized on ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal, Localization of Sustainable Development Goals and Public Planning Abhiyan-2022 at Conference Hall No. 1 of Prajna Bhavan today. He said, this government is my government. To make this feeling work in everyone, the present government is constantly working in the public interest. My Government web portal has been launched with that objective in mind. The Chief Minister said, keeping in mind the call of ‘Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas’, the government is working to achieve 100 percent saturation of the basic services of the people besides implementing various public welfare projects for the overall development of the people. The government wants no defect in any side. Tripura ranks well in the country in terms of various job evaluations at the national level. In many cases Tripura is ahead of others. Everyone has to work together to keep Tripura’s reputation intact. He said, My Government web portal has been launched to solve various problems of people quickly. More vigilance will be increased through this portal in the coming days so that the resources being developed in the state are sustainable.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Devavarma, the guest of honor on the occasion said, “My government web portal has been launched with the aim of providing benefits of various government development projects to the people who are standing in the last row of the society through the use of technology. Initiatives are being taken to solve people’s problems quickly using this technology. He said that the government has taken initiative to localize sustainable development goals. So that development is stable or sustainable as well as future generations can benefit from it. Sustainable Development Goals will work as part of making villages self-reliant, transparent and beautiful.
Dr. Special Secretary of Rural Development (Panchayat) Department gave welcome speech on the occasion. Sandeep Rathore. On the occasion, Additional Director of Rural Development Department, Prasoon De, presented an outline of the objectives, topics of the government web portal through a power point presentation. The event also awarded the best 9 blocks selected for videos based on 9 themes in localizing the Sustainable Development Goals. Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Special Secretary of Rural Development (Panchayat) Department gave away the awards to the representatives of 9 blocks. Chairpersons of various Zilla Parishads, Chairman of Panchayat Samiti and BAC, BDO, officials of various related departments etc. were present in the event.
