The state of Tripura has a loan availability of rupees 9,656 crores for the year 2023-2024. The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), in Agartala city, conducted the State Financial Conference and gave the prediction of loans available in the Regional Office of Tripura.
Prem Kumar Reang, the minister of cooperation and fisheries, spoke during the conference meeting. The State Loan Conference was attended by the Chairman of the Tripura State Cooperative Bank, the Chairman of the Gramin Bank, and various other official departments who also took part in this important meeting.
The steps that will be taken under The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Projects are to enhance Tripura with financial assistance for infrastructural development, improve financial literacy, digitalization, livelihood programs, and skilling of the general public for entrepreneurship across other platforms. They also take the necessary step for the environment and for wildlife animals to maintain the balance in the ecology of the surrounding.
According to the State Policy Report, the State of Tripura’s capability for providing credit to the core sector services for 2023–2024 has been estimated at Rs 9656 crore.
