Chaturong and his 44-year-old fiancée, Kanchana Pachunthuek, were preparing to exchange vows when a sudden argument between the couple led Chaturong, who was reportedly intoxicated, to abruptly leave the celebration. Upon his return, he brought a gun with him, leading to a devastating series of shootings.
The first victims were Chaturong’s 62-year-old mother and 38-year-old elder sister, followed by his to-be wife. Additionally, two guests were hit by bullets, with one succumbing to injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Chaturong concluded the violent episode by taking his own life.

Police, while confirming Chaturong’s intoxicated state, remain uncertain about the motive behind the tragic incident. Chaturong Suksuk, known for his achievements in para-athletics, had secured a silver medal in swimming at the Asean Para Games in Indonesia last year. He was also expected to participate in the World Abilitysport Games in Thailand scheduled for December.
