BJP national general secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh arrived in Tripura on Tuesday for a two-day visit amid ongoing talks with Tipra Motha. The BJP is trying to finalise an electoral understanding with the regional party ahead of the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections. Northeast coordinator Sambit Patra and senior leaders Rabindra Raju and Rajdeep Roy also reached the state.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha received the BJP leaders at the State Guest House near Khajurbagan. With the VC polls scheduled for September 28, both parties face pressure to finalise their alliance and seat-sharing arrangement soon.

BL Santosh Begins Tripura Visit
