Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today inaugurated a series of vital development initiatives in Tripura, underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusive progress. With a strong focus on modern infrastructure and accessibility, the Tripura CM launches projects aimed at creating citizen-friendly systems and ensuring benefits reach the grassroots.

At the launch event in Agartala, Dr. Saha stated that these new projects would bridge development gaps in health, education, housing, and transportation. He stressed the importance of balanced growth, where rural and urban areas progress side by side.

Among the projects unveiled were road upgrades in remote blocks, expansion of public healthcare units, and digital service centers to help citizens access government schemes more easily.

Infrastructure that empowers every citizen

As the Tripura CM launches projects, the state moves toward stronger infrastructure that serves every section of society. One of the major announcements included plans to upgrade over 400 km of rural roads under the PMGSY scheme. This will directly benefit interior villages that remain cut off during monsoons.

Additionally, the Chief Minister launched mobile health vans to serve remote tribal belts. These vans will carry doctors and diagnostics to areas with limited access to hospitals. A new housing initiative was also introduced for low-income families living in disaster-prone areas.

Dr. Saha assured that all departments will work together to ensure quality and timely completion of these initiatives. “We are building systems that care, that serve the people where they are,” he said.

Digital governance and inclusive outreach

The Tripura CM launches projects also included a push for better digital governance. Under this plan, 100 new digital service centers will be established across panchayats and municipal areas. These centers will help people apply for welfare schemes, access documents, and seek grievance redressal without delay.

Moreover, skill development centers were inaugurated for unemployed youth in rural Tripura. These centers will offer vocational courses in IT, agriculture, retail, and hospitality. The idea, the CM said, was to prepare local youth for job markets without needing them to migrate far.

Women self-help groups and micro-enterprise units were also included in the rollout. Dr. Saha emphasized their role in building a strong and self-reliant Tripura.

Vow for transparency and citizen-first governance

Speaking at the event, Dr. Saha reiterated his government’s vow for transparent governance. He said, “The government is committed to delivering results, not just promises. Citizens must feel that systems are made for them.”

He also directed departments to regularly audit progress and publish updates online so people can track real-time developments. The Tripura CM launches projects not just as construction efforts but as foundations of a future-oriented state.

With a strong and clear message of citizen-centric development, the Tripura CM launches projects across sectors to ensure that growth is both inclusive and impactful. From healthcare to roads, and from digital access to employment, these initiatives reflect the state’s focus on practical solutions that uplift lives.

Dr. Manik Saha’s leadership in rolling out these projects marks a step forward in building a resilient, accessible, and equitable Tripura.
