The operation, executed around 1:30 pm on the previous day, resulted in the apprehension of two individuals and the confiscation of a substantial quantity of illegal substances.

Acting on a tip-off, the law enforcement team, led by Officer-in-Charge Rana Chatterjee of Bishalgarh police station, swiftly moved to raid a house in the Dhanchari area. The focus of the operation was Raju Sarkar, identified as harboring a significant amount of dry cannabis in his residence.
The operation proved successful, leading to the arrest of two brothers – Raju Sarkar and Sanjit Sarkar. The duo now faces charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. They are currently in police custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
