A pall of outrage has fallen over Belonia following the horrific gang rape of a minor girl. Police have swiftly acted, arresting six individuals in connection with the heinous crime, while a search is ongoing for one remaining suspect.
The distressing incident occurred on Friday afternoon. According to the police report, the minor girl was kidnapped, and subsequently subjected to the brutal assault. The victim’s family, demonstrating commendable courage, filed a formal complaint with the Belonia police station on Saturday, leading to the registration of case number 2025BLN06.
In a coordinated effort spanning three police stations – Santir Bazar, Belonia, and Rajnagar P R Bari – law enforcement launched a comprehensive investigation.
