Tripura has discovered a new symbol of pride in Shriyansh Shastri, a 25-month-old child prodigy from Dharmanagar in North Tripura district. At an age when most toddlers are just learning to speak, Shriyansh has already secured a place in the World Kings Top Records 2025, marking a historic milestone for the region.
The achievement comes after he earlier earned recognition from the India Book of Records, making him one of the youngest achievers in the state’s history.
Early Signs of Exceptional Talent
Shriyansh first drew attention at just 18 months of age. At that stage, he could accurately identify human body parts and recognize 20 different animals. His extraordinary abilities impressed record officials, who awarded him a medal and certificate from the India Book of Records.
Family members and neighbors soon realized that Shriyansh possessed rare cognitive skills well beyond his age.

Remarkable Knowledge at Just Two Years
By the time he turned two, Shriyansh demonstrated an even broader range of knowledge. He mastered 36 different content areas, which included mythology, the names of 36 animals, and the complete list of Indian states along with their capitals.
This outstanding performance earned him recognition from World Kings Top Records 2025, an organization operating under the India Book of Records. Officials honored him with a medal, certificate, commemorative pen, and citation, acknowledging his exceptional memory and learning ability.
Parents Share Proud Moments
Shriyansh is the only child of Biswajit Shastri and Swapna Das, residents of Subhash Palli in Chandrapur Ward No. 5, Dharmanagar. His father recalled noticing signs of brilliance when Shriyansh was just 13 months old.
“He could identify and recite things effortlessly,” Biswajit said. “We applied to the India Book of Records in April 2025 when he was 18 months old. He received the medal and certificate within the same month.”
Second Recognition Despite Technical Hurdles
In November, when Shriyansh reached 24 months, his parents once again submitted his achievements for evaluation. On November 19, World Kings Top Records 2025 confirmed his second major recognition.
However, Aadhaar card-related issues prevented his name from appearing in the global rankings. Despite this technical setback, experts and officials acknowledged his achievements as genuine and extraordinary.
A Historic Feat for Rural Dharmanagar
Securing two prestigious recognitions before the age of 25 months remains unprecedented in Dharmanagar’s rural history. The achievement has brought joy and pride to his parents, relatives, and the entire local community.
Residents across Dharmanagar and North Tripura have celebrated Shriyansh’s success, calling it an inspiration for parents and children alike.
Focus on Balanced Growth and Values
Looking ahead, Shriyansh’s parents stressed the importance of nurturing his talent responsibly. They emphasized that education and moral values remain their top priority.
“We want him to grow into a good human being first,” they said. “We will guide him carefully so that his talent develops in the right direction.”
Shriyansh Shastri’s journey has now become a beacon of hope for Tripura, proving that extraordinary talent can emerge from even the smallest corners of the state.
