On Sunday, many as 3,600 TET-qualified people staged a demonstration in front of education minister Ratan Lal Nath’s house in the city demanding a time-bound action of the government.
Education Minister said “Recruiting all the qualified aspirants together is impossible for any government. He will sit with chief minister Manik Saha and deputy chief minister holding finance portfolio Jishnu Dev Varma to finalise the process of filling up 600 posts of teachers”.
“The minister made a U-turn from his statements repeatedly and failed to keep his promises like 14,000 teachers’ recruitment after qualifying TET” a protester said.
