Unity Promo Fest-2025 to Boost Tourism, Cultural Harmony in Tripura’s Belonia

Tripura will host the Unity Promo Fest-2025 in Belonia, a scenic town in South Tripura. The state government aims to promote tourism, showcase cultural heritage, and strengthen community harmony through this major event. Government Reviews Preparations

Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury led a review meeting at the Belonia Dak Bungalow to finalize the festival arrangements. The District Magistrate, Secretary and Director of Tourism, Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati, MLA Pramod Reang, MLA Sapna Majumder, and senior officials from different departments joined the meeting. In addition, various departments agreed to coordinate closely for smooth operations.

Sushanta Chowdhury explained that last year’s Tourism Promo Fest drew huge appreciation and strong public participation. Therefore, the government decided to make this year’s edition larger and more impactful, while choosing Belonia as the host location.

Cultural Events and Public Engagement

In addition to Belonia, the Tourism Department will hold supporting activities at other tourist centers such as Agartala, Udaipur, and Unakoti. This way, visitors can explore multiple attractions and discover new destinations across the state.
