Women Body Found After Six Days Of Missing

A body of a woman was found in Tripura at Agartala city it is said that she was missing for the last six days from her home in the Sarasima area under the Belonia subdivision of South Tripura district. The body was found on Saturday.

According to the police the women’s body was in a naked condition and about 200 meters away from her home.

The woman’s family claimed that she was raped and murdered by an unknown criminal. The family filed a missing complaint with the Belonia Women’s police station soon after she was missing from her house.

This incident has scared citizens in the Belonia area. The woman’s body was found by some residents inside the forest.

“Prima facie evidence gives an impression that a woman was murdered. The main reason behind the death could only be ascertained after post-mortem,” a police officer said.

A forensic team was immediately called to the crime sport and the evidence was collected before the body was sent to the local hospital for autopsy.

This is the second rape case this month, earlier this month a minor girl was allegedly raped by six men for two days in the Nagaon district of Assam.

The victim talked to the police and told the police that she was kidnapped by a gang while awaiting an e-rickshaw to return home after class. She said, “They took me to an unidentified place in a vehicle and tied my mouth, hands, and legs. A total of six persons confined me for two days and raped me repeatedly.”
