The JRBT candidates held a protest demanding the declaration of their 2021 exam results in front of North Gate on 5 June, Sunday.
With the unemployment rate increasing in the state, the desperate unemployed youths who appeared on the JRBT exam last year, conducted a massive protest today in front of the North Gate Agartala. The JRBT aspirants slammed the Tripura government over delays in result publication.
“Earlier, we were told that they have not published the result because the resulting process was not complete and now, they are saying that even though the resulting process is complete, we cannot publish the result due to the two cases that were lodged for not getting the result, we don’t know how they will solve that problem but we want our result anyhow. While announcing the exam there were so much of advertisements and everyone was speaking about this but now when the result is not out, everyone is silent. This is not tolerable anymore, and we want answers from the Tripura government.,” said a JRBT aspirant.
According to the aspirants, they also visited the JRBT office a couple of times months ago and were assured by the officials, today even after 10 months now, the result has not been published, and therefore now they want answers from the government.
“We demand that whatever processes are left be completed at the earliest and that our results be out within November. If the elections can be held on time, why can’t the results be published on time?” asked a JRBT aspirant while speaking to the media.
