550 people have been trapped in landslides caused by heavy rains in northern Sikkim. On Friday, the soldiers of the Striking Lion Division arrived to assist these tourists. During this, medical aid and food were provided to the tourists. The Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army said that tourists were also directed for safety in bad weather.
