Various clubs, NGOs, and governmental authorities in Tripura are actively organizing voluntary blood donation camps to address the shortage of blood supply in government-run blood banks. These camps have become a daily affair, with many citizens and even families of Assam Rifles jawans participating in them.
In a recent event, the Assam Rifles authority (21 sector) organized a mega blood donation camp attended by the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy, and AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder. Over 100 jawans of the Assam Rifles donated blood in this camp. Dr. Saha also attended two other voluntary blood donation camps in the North Zonal office of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and in the office of Ward No. 39 of the AMC, accompanied by Mayor Dipak Majumder. The active participation of citizens, organizations, and government officials in these camps highlights their commitment to addressing the blood shortage issue and providing critical medical support to patients in need.
