The Assam Congress has unveiled the detailed route for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, a significant political campaign led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Scheduled to traverse the state from January 18 to January 25, the Yatra aims to connect with the people and address their concerns, setting the stage for a dynamic political discourse.

Day 1: A Grand Commencement
The Yatra commences on January 18, starting at the interstate border in Haluating, Assam. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to lead a roadshow and public meeting at Amguri Town, followed by a public meeting at the Gibon Forest area. The day concludes with a roadshow in Mariani and Jorhat Town, where the leader will stay overnight.

Day 2: Crossing the Brahmaputra
On January 19, the Yatra continues from Nimatighat to Afalaghat over the Brahmaputra River. A roadshow from Afalaghat to Kamalabari Chariali is planned, along with visits to Aunati Satra and a lunch break at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex in Majuli. The day wraps up with roadshows in Jengraimukh and Gogamukh.

Day 3: Heading to Arunachal Pradesh
January 20 sees the Yatra starting from Boginadi, featuring roadshows in Lakhimpur Town, Laluk, Harmati, and Nawboisa. The day concludes with an entry into Arunachal Pradesh, with a night stay in Itanagar.

Day 4: Paying Tributes and Public Engagements
January 21 involves a tribute to Kanaklata at Gohpur, roadshows in Biswanath Chariali, and a public meeting at Kaliabor. The day ends with a night stay at Rupohi.

Day 5: Nagaon and Meghalaya Exploration
On January 22, the Yatra travels from Rupohi to Nagaon town, exploring various locations in Meghalaya, including Nongpu. The day is packed with roadshows, street corner meetings, and a night stay in Nongpu.

Day 6: Kamrup Metro and Beyond
January 23 marks the Yatra’s entry into Kamrup Metro, covering multiple locations in Guwahati and Kamrup Dist (Rural). The day ends with a venture into Nalbari Dist, starting the journey into Barpeta District and eventually reaching Bishnupur for a night stay.

Day 7: Culmination in Dhuburi District
On January 24, the Yatra traverses through Barpeta Town, Jyotigaon, Jania Bazar, and more. Crossing into Dhuburi District, the day includes street corner meetings, lunch breaks, and public meetings, ending with a night stay in Gouripur.

Day 8: Final Leg to Boxirhat Border
The concluding day, January 25, sees the Yatra starting from Gouripur and progressing through various markets until it reaches Sagolia, Assam, marking the end at the Boxirhat Border.

Grand Kick-off in Manipur
Before reaching Assam, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra had its grand kick-off in Manipur’s Thoubal district. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh announced the launch during a press meet in Imphal, revealing Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Imphal at 11 am.

As the Yatra unfolds, it promises to be a dynamic political spectacle, engaging with the diverse population of Assam and addressing their concerns as it travels across the state. The journey is not just a physical one but a symbolic connection between political leaders and the citizens they aim to represent.
