Union Environment Minister Laid The Groundwork Of The 100-Bed Hospital In Tripura

The Ministry of Labour & Employment stated that Bhupender Yadav who is Union Environment Minister laid the groundwork for the 100-bed Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital in Tripura in a virtual ceremony from New Delhi.

Dr. Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, attended the event as the chief guest, and also other ministers participated in the event such as Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment Kumari Pratima Bhoumik, etc.

The five acres of the projected 100-bed ESIC hospital in Agartala would be used for this purpose. This hospital will be built for an estimated 100 crores, and development should take three years. This hospital provides medical services to more than 60,000 people in Agartala and neighboring regions.

Bhupender Yadav said in his speech at the ceremony that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a deep interest in the advancement of the North East states and the ESIC hospital will be a part of it.

According to Dr. Manik Saha, the ESIC hospital will help the local workforce and their families and also provide job possibilities for the people of Tripura.
