BSF has achieved major success against the international cannabis smuggling trade. A person was caught with ganja during an operation by 108 battalion of BSF in Indo-Bangladesh border village Malaya in Kamalpur sub-division of Dhalai district late on Monday night.
It is learned that the BSF jawans guarding the border noticed the suspicious movement. Then they quickly went out and arrested Yusuf Ali (38) with 10 kg of dry ganja. During the interrogation, he admitted that he had brought ganja for smuggling. Later, the BSF authorities handed him over to the police of the local Kamalpur police station. Police produced him in court today.
