Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday distributed appointment letters to 11236 successful candidates of 24 departments. In a program organized at Khanapara Veterinary Ground in Guwahati, he said that whatever promises we had made, now slowly we are fulfilling them. He said that earlier also the government has given appointment letters to 27,737 successful candidates. He said that the government is fulfilling its promise of providing one lakh jobs in a phased manner. Some people in Assam are protesting against the introduction of English medium of Mathematics and Science subjects in classes above Class III. To this the CM said that there is a section of it, people who are against the idea of ​​development and development of students from economically poor background. They are expressing their protest by placing a gun on the shoulders of backward and economically poor students in the name of mother tongue.
