Angry job aspirants demand immediate results from JRBT (Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura) they rather want to encounter death instead of being hit by bamboo sticks for holding protests in Agartala city. The results were supposed to be announced within one year but the authorities failed to do so.
The aspirants were gathered at the JRBT office on Friday as the results were not announced after one year of conducting the examination and even after passing off.
While talking to the media the agitation job aspirant said “The exam for Group C and Group D was conducted one year prior by JRBT but till now the results are not declared. Even the High court of Tripura has passed a stay order to publish the results. But JRBT’s spine is so stiff that the officials are reluctant to follow the verdict of the High court. We all sitting here and demanding the results of the Group C and Group D examinations. We have no intention to invite any clash with police by holding agitation here.”
“we told to form JRBT and hold examinations. Altogether, 1 lakh 21 thousand youths appeared for these two examinations conducted in August last year. Each candidate deposited Rs 300 while filling out an application to appear for these two examinations. The total figure of deposited money is Rs 3 crore 62 lakh. One year passed off if 10 percent interest stands at Rs 36,20,000”, the aspirant said.
Requesting on the behalf of the aspirant he told “We have no animosity from police and personnel we see them as safe guardians. We appeal to the police to shoot us in the forehead in place of charging us with lathis. We are ashamed to show our faces to our parents. They spend their hard-earned money for these exams and we do not desire to agitate.”
Till now JRBT has conducted many exams and given jobs to many candidates inside and outside Tripura.
