Mild tremors of earthquake were felt in Tripura’s Dharmanagar this morning. This information was given by the National Center for Seismology. An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale at a depth of 10 km hit Dharmanagar in Tripura on Saturday morning at 7.37 am, he said. He also informed that the earthquake occurred 41 km from Dharmanagar in Tripura.

NCS tweeted, “An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on 15-04-2023 occurred at 07:37:46 IST, Latitude: 24.53 & Long: 92.53, Depth: 10 km, Location: 41km from Dharmanagar, Tripura Eene.” At the same time, earlier on April 12, earthquake tremors were also felt in Araria, Bihar.

According to the National Center for Seismology, earthquake tremors were felt in Araria at around 5.35 am. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of about 10 kilometers from the ground surface.

Apart from Bihar, earthquake tremors were also felt in West Bengal on 12 April. The tremors were felt 140 km south-west of Siliguri. Its intensity was measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. The NCS said the earthquake occurred at 5:35 am on Wednesday. At the same time, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers from the ground.
