Guwahati Reels Under 40°C Heatwave, No Respite Till May 26


Amidst the scorching heatwave gripping Guwahati, temperatures soared to a blistering 40°C, intensifying the discomfort for residents. Dispur, a prominent locality in the city, witnessed similar sweltering conditions, also recording a temperature of 40°C. Meanwhile, areas surrounding Guwahati Airport and IIT Guwahati experienced marginally cooler but still oppressive temperatures, hovering around 39°C.
